Catalysing Solutions

YOUTH-LED INNOVATION AND LABS:

Drawing on accurate diagnostics, we convene multi-stakeholders working group at the to reflect on innovative solutions to existing challenges faced by communities.

In 2012, working with the Climate Action Network we broke the lid on Youth innovations on addressing and tackling the climate crisis at the community level. We identified 45 youth-led solutions and brought them together into a multi-stakeholder platform to lobby for funding, share knowledge and build viable businesses.

Since then we continue to provide targeted and enabling support to youth-led pilots new models and interventions for solutions addressing society problems. 

We are improving this work on youth innovation and labs by integrating knowledge management and policy dialogue. This will help us to ensure that more youth are able to be involved in solutions that address challenges faced by communities with the support and guidance of key stakeholders.

We are prioritizing innovations addressing migration, climate change, health, unemployment and youth access to vital resources including land, technology and finance for the period 2020-2030.
