What We do

WHAT WE DO AND WHY WE DO IT

Our work is putting youth in Uganda at the heart and soul of communities through engagement, learning and action whilst leading change in their communities.

We work through four interlinked strategies including Knowledge Management , Engagement, Participation and Advocacy, Inspiring and Cultivating Leaders, and Catalysing Solutions.

We develop and implement cutting edge youth-led projects and solutions that aim to address the systemic inequality faced by the youth in Uganda.

Our work is designed to address the urgent needs of youth in a fast changing world. In our current Strategy of 2020-2030 we aim to address youth challenges in health, migration, climate change, employment and deepening youth work and engagement in social action, while building evidence of the impact of youth work.

We continue our tradition of running innovative multi-stakeholder platforms on key issues affecting the youth combining dialogue, knowledge exchange and story telling, to co-create solutions to tackle the increased systemic stifling of the rights of the youth.

SOLUTIONS, KNOWLEDGE BUILDING, DIALOGUE AND POLICY SHIFT

At the heart of youth transformation is their ability to participate and engage in developing solutions, addressing challenges affecting their communities and be able to tell the stories of their communities to inspire others and seek for collective action.

We are putting a footprint as a strong advocate for the youth work by bringing alive the challenges faced by the youth, support them to develop and uptake solutions by the youth and stakeholders, facilitate dialogue with decision makers and stakeholders and upon the decision makers seeing these challenges and solutions are prepared to act on them.

Our work points to knowledge management, catalyzing solutions, building relationships between youth, government (local and national) and stakeholders so that policy and programming can respond to addressing challenges faced by the youth the way the youth want.
