Accountability and Publications

Transparency, responsible stewardship and accountability to communities and partners are central to how Youthplus works. We maintain governance and management systems designed to support responsible programme delivery, financial integrity and continuous learning.

Governance and Institutional Oversight

An independent Board of Directors provides strategic direction, policy oversight and fiduciary stewardship. The Executive Director and Secretariat are responsible for operational leadership and programme implementation.

Financial Accountability

Youthplus maintains financial management systems that support budgeting, accounting, procurement, internal controls, donor compliance and independent external audits. The organisation’s audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2025 were audited by MDJ and Partners, Certified Public Accountants. The auditor issued an unqualified opinion on those financial statements.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning

MEAL is embedded across programme implementation to measure outcomes, generate evidence, strengthen programme quality and support continuous organisational learning. Community feedback mechanisms help ensure that programmes remain responsive and locally relevant.

Safeguarding, Gender Equality and Inclusion

Youthplus is committed to safeguarding and protection, gender equality and inclusion. These commitments inform programme design, community engagement and organisational accountability.
